Edward Bawden, CBE, RA (1903 – 1989) was a British painter, illustrator and graphic artist. He was also famous for his prints, book covers, posters, and garden metalwork furniture. Often missed by designers, Edward Bawden is one of the finest artists of his time. He created wonderful work for Fortnum and Mason, Imperial Airways, and most notably, tiles for the London Underground. His work is truly inspiring, so take note!!
